Beginning of My Very Last Semester

My studies are always really rough, however, the final product will be to the same caliber as the others if not stronger.

Layed in the shadow areas and blocked in the base background color to start color harmonies.

I've decided to start doing in-progress shots.

Here's my first oval piece of the semester started. Just the ground is down.

Baby Landscape # 3

So turns out I won't be using any more landscapes this semester. However, I will be sending these three off to the Muskegon postcard show.

Mirrors

Here are two of the works with the mirrors completed on top of the paintings.
Poorly documented, of course, but it shows you how reflective the surfaces of the work are.

Beginning Thesis II

It's been a bit due to my winter break.  Did a dog-portrait for my mother for Christmas, hoping she'll photograph that for me so I can post it for you eventually.

In the meantime, check out these little landscape babies I'm working on.
They serve two purposes:

1. To practice my landscape skills so that I can try painting them onto the mirrored glass front as an additional element. 
2. For the Postcard Show in Muskegon, MI coming up with submissions due in a week.
